To meet the requirements of ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) the
Pennsylvania Department of Education is now requiring school districts
to collect data on our student’s parents and/or guardians who are
currently an active duty member of a branch of the armed forces
(Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corp. Coast Guard). This includes those
who are on full-time Reserves or National Guard duty.
We will need to report this data beginning for the 2017-18 school year
and would ask that if you are serving as an active member of the
